BACK TO ISLE OF MAN ROOTS
High Profile Media, Tarset Street's advertising agency subsidiary, has closed its office in Windsor and returned to the Isle of Man, where it has relocated alongside sister public relations consultancy High Profile Marketing.
Chief executive Alan Page said: "As much as anything, this reorganisation is to do with the advance of technology. It is no longer necessary to carry the overheads of a fully-staffed office within striking distance of central London.
"Client meetings are largely a thing of the past and it is hard to remember the last time a client visited us in Windsor. Everything these days is done by the Internet, e-mail and conference calls. The move out of Windsor was discussed first with every client and not one raised any objection. We need to stay competitive and this premises consolidation will help considerably."
High Profile was set up in the Isle of Man 17 years ago. A further facility, near Barcelona in Spain, is used primarily to service southern European clients.
