YANMAR MARINE APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT
Geert Yan Mantel, who has been president of Yanmar Marine since its inception in 2002, has been appointed a director of the main board of Yanmar in Osaka, Japan.
Mr Mantel will continue to operate from Almere in The Netherlands, combining his new role with another of his current appointments, president of Yanmar Europe, and has joined the board of Ammann-Yanmar in France. He takes final responsibility for all Yanmar activities in Europe.
Akihiro Nishimura, senior manager of the development department within Yanmar’s boating operation, is the new president of Yanmar Marine, based at Almere.
